San Domenico Located in the north of Piedmont, between the Lepontine Alps and the border with Switzerland, San Domenico opens out onto a landscape of crags, forests and alpine lakes.
A hamlet of the municipality of Varzo, it is located at an altitude of 1,420 meters, on a large plateau overlooking the Cairasca Valley, a tributary of the Divedro Valley, in the heart of the Ossola region.
Here the mountain still retains its authenticity. Nature is the true protagonist: spontaneous, generous and virtually untouched, it offers landscapes and atmospheres to be experienced without haste in every season.
In winter you can ski on the snowy slopes of the Alpe Ciamporino, stroll through the snow-covered forests and breathe in all the magic of the mountains. In summer, on the other hand, excursions along the trails of the Alpine natural parks, panoramic walks and moments of pure relaxation in the silence of the village await you.
San Domenico is a place to explore, to live and to remember.
